This area is the largest ski area of the Fiescheralp. From here you can reach the (car-free) mountain villages and ski areas Bettmeralp and Riederalp. There is a free ski bus that brings you to the ski areas from Fieschertal. The ski-lift Blitz in Fieschertal is ideal for children that have yet to learn how to ski. Furthermore, the town centre of Fiesch is just a few minutes’ walk from the chalet.
In the nearby Alpen village you can find facilities like supermarkets, bakeries, butcher, restaurants, sport equipment store, train station, bicycle rental, apothecary, general practitioner, tourist information centre (VVV) and many other commodities that will make your summer or winter vacation more pleasant. In addition Fieschertal and its surroundings offer you an extensive choice in active activities like skiing, cross country skiing, hiking, golfing, mountain climbing, mountain biking, rafting, Nordic walking, paragliding, mineral searching and swimming.
The vast ski area is equipped with modern ski lifts that go up to 2900 meter and connect the 3 ski areas; Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp and Riederalp The area is sure to have snow from December up until the beginning of April.

Do you want to go cross country skiing? That is possible in Goms, one of the most vast cross country skiing areas of Switzerland with magnificent loipen in the Gomstal. Naturally this vast Swiss ski area offers plenty of hiking possibilities. So put on those hiking boots!
The Fieschertal is a great starting point for visits to Italy. The Lago Maggiore and the Como lake are just an hour drive away. If you take the car or train just another hour further, you will find yourself in the centre of stunning Milan. Do you prefer the mountains to the city? That is also a possibility. The view from the Eggishorn is amazing. You can see the Aletsch Glacier and the famous Matterhorn in Zermatt.
